This floor panel was created by starting with a plane,then stacking detail floating just above it, giving layers materials, baking them all down onto the plane in XNormal. Finally taking them into Substance Painter to apply a generated material (in this case, rusted metal).
Quick PBR render to see how my re-topology and normal baking turned out - so far so good. The PBR and recognised the edges from both the normal map and the geometry.
